"I managed to unfortunately walk in the back way. I walked through the car park. It was strange as there was no signage and just followed arrows for reception. The guy on reception looked like I was an inconvenience and very dismissive. He said the bars over there and the restaurants over there. Barely a welcome and then told me the lift was out and right. He could have said it’s to the right by the stairs. Because I got lost. He never told me about breakfast or anything else. The room was excellently cleaned but it had stains on the carpet which were off putting and a stain on the chair. The cleaning staff were clean and efficient. The breakfast room staff were amazing and helpful. And friendly. Breakfast itself was good. Lots to choose from and easy to get to. Hot and cold available. The reception staff when I checked out were friendly and chatty and asked about my day like they cared. In some areas there needs to be a bit of renovation but other than that a pleasant stay. "

"Upon my arrival. I was greeted my the landlord. I was made to feel welcomed. I asked if they could put football on while I had my dinner. They could not have been more helpful. Friendly chat. Staff were amazing. Totally recommended. If I am in the area again. I will definitely stay here. "

"I was made welcome by friendly and professional staff from start to finish. There was also a fire alarm event at the start of my stay which I thought was managed well but I would reccommend using a Megaphone when communicating directions with the evacuated guests."

"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"
