"I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly."

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression ! Thank you and congratulations to your staff Matt our stay with you was wonderful. Will recommend to friends without hesitation!"

"The staff were lovely and couldn't have been better. Our room had a bathroom across the hall which opened with a key. A little strange and not great for a 3am wee. We ate here and the food was ok."

"Our rooms looked nothing like the photo’s on here. The carpets had huge stains on them and the furniture was dated and beat up. Our window would not open and the frame was rotting. Our bathroom was dark and the shower would sporadically turn burning hot to freezing cold. The women’s toilets in the bar area had multiple out of order signs on the doors and the one I was able to use had a huge hole in the wall where tiles were missing and broken. "They have ac on the rooms where you can change the temperatures. The restaurants around are also great and if you need to use transportation I recommend using A1 Taxi for budget transportation. Overall the workers are nice and if you ever need anything they will help with open arms!"

"The pub is friendly with good food and staff. The separate block which houses the bedrooms looks boring but the bedrooms inside are incredibly beautiful. I enjoyed underfloor heating in the bathroom and the lovely views of the countryside. "
