"Dated, but clean rooms. Mini golf was fun. Standard continental breakfast had only hard-boiled eggs for protein. TV wouldn't work until husband fiddled around with the box and cables. Seems to be a place lots of regular locals hang out."

"This is our second year visiting. We love that it feels very secluded and not crowded. Pretty setting to see from the restaurant and definitely has a charm to it. However some areas are in desperate need of some love. The pool area is very dated and needs a good cleaning. The garden outside of the pool overlooking the lake is all weeds and would be so beautiful with some flowers. "Really enjoyed my stay due to the well appointed room, well maintained grounds, helpful staff, very good breakfast, nice pub meals and excellent amenities including kayaks, tennis, basketball, barrels saunas and an extremely clean heated pool. The hotel is charming and set on a beautiful stretch of lake. There is a golf course across from the parking lot. The beach area is public and nice but not as appealing for swimming. Pros: Beautiful setting, charm and grace with plenty of places to sit...

"The lakefront king room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was so comfortable! Restaurant staff and food were great! I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t lake swimming but the pool and sauna were nice. Exterior of the building could use a refresh but was happy with our stay and loved our room."

"Although very expensive, this is one of the best holiday properties I have been at. Everything was top notch. I highly recommend this property for people of all ages and family types. I will be visiting this property next year with my grandkids. The lake is spectacular. The activities are top notch. The pools are relaxing and heated. The staff are extraordinary. I have not felt as relaxed in any other place."
