"I am wary of doing chain hotels but chose to stay here due to the location and the fact it boasted a "fitness facility". The location was convenient as it was sited at a Welcome Break services. I was able to park close to the entrance. I was warmly greeted but on checking in found out that there was a separate £5 charge for overnight parking which was not disclosed at the outset of booking the accommodation. "Rooms were very clean and comfortable. They have essentials to purchase for cheap at the front desk (toothbrush kit, etc.). They have a full bar. It's within walking distance of several good pubs and restaurants. Takes about 6 minutes to get to Terminal 5 of Heathrow airport on the bus which stops right outside the hotel. The staff was very helpful."

"The room was excellent, well equipped, very comfortable with a first rate view from the balcony. The pool and Gym facilities were excellent, easy to use with fantastic staff. The only let down was the bar/restaurant area. The levels of noise from the assorted screens, the shouting and screaming was ridiculous. "I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. Immediately after my dinner I felt a discomfort but did not think anything of it. "First they didn't have the two single bed room I reserved months ago. Once we got to the room with a double bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed my daughter had to sleep on there was absolutely no air conditioning no matter what I did to the thermostat. I tried to call the front desk with no answer. There is shampoo and body soap but no conditioner and very rough towels, with no wash cloth. The only good thing was the bus stop across the street to get to the airport."
