"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. "This was a real treat and was like a mini vacation within our vacation. The location (quiet solitude, views, surrounded by the horses), all the comforts of home (to sit on a real couch again even lol) and being able to make our own meals and enjoy a private evening in the hot tub were just what I needed."

We loved being based here and then being able to go out in the evening to visit sites like Gullfoss and the Geysir area (just 45 mins away) when they were not crowded. The place itself is modern, spacious, and very well kept. Loved the outdoor grill, hot tub, and comfortable beds. In our view, this was far better than staying at a hotel."
