"This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The location is a reasonable distance from the busy city of Porto over the river, while still being very accessible on the Gaia side, near the port wine cellars. We booked a studio room overlooking the Douro River with a stunning balcony view of the Luís I Bridge that we had to see to believe. Some days we took a short walk along the river to the lower cable car station to take in amazing views on the ride to the top. The upper station is next...

"This is a respite of calm right in the middle of a busy city! Common areas are large and well-appointed with nice, modern decor. Macaroons in the lobby were appreciated, as was the little bottle of port wine in the room. The spa area with small indoor infinity pool was the perfect place to recuperate from site-seeing...and we loved our room itself-- it had a huge balcony with an incredible view."

Enjoyed having the large bathroom with two sinks - made sharing a bathroom very easy. We also used the indoor leisure facilities. Pool a bit chilly but loungers comfy. Food at this hotel was tasty and not over priced. We are hoping to stay again...
