"There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. "While the apartment was very clean and amenities provided were all modern throughout. We unfortunately did not have a pleasant stay, the only thing was the poor sleep we had. The bed/mattresses was very worn, hard and uncomfortable to the point where you could feel the springs on a part of the mattress. "We never got to stay in the apartment because we couldn't safely get to it. We were informed on the Expedia page that it would be a first-floor apartment. This was not true. "We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had black out curtains. I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us).
