"A very warm welcome from Caroline to a beautiful house overlooking the surrounding countryside and near the church. Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants."

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was incredibly nice—clean, spacious, and very comfortable to relax in after a long day. The location was absolutely perfect, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore the area. On top of that, having hassle-free onsite parking made our trip so much smoother. "This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"No instructions in the room on how to operate anything. Shower: insufficient grab handles for old fogies to safely get out. A non slip mat was available from reception. This information was on the very back of the shower. Found by chance. No information on how to switch the electric towel rail off."

"Nice pools though much smaller then they look on the site and crowded as it is a health club too - hard to actually swim at all. The rooms were hit with no air con, no fan in the bathroom, and our room was on ground floor near the pool sbc we slept terribly with all the noise of people shd slamming door till late and then early again. The food in the brasserie was good however and staff very friendly."

"Brilliant hotel. Spotlessly clean, ever so helpful and friendly staff. Best breakfast menu I've known as able to mix and match breakfast items from the menu. And when waiting for a taxi after having checked out, one of the staff who served breakfast offered me a small pot of tea whilst I was waiting. I will definitely stay at the Yeodale hotel again next time I travel to Barnstaple. "
