"We had a wonderful stay! The setting of the property, amongst those green Basque Country hills, is gorgeous and the building itself has an air of old world charm. "Stayed one night on the way to Seville, and the room was very comfortable, exactly as indicated online, and the location was great. The rooftop bar is lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Exactly what you would expect from a hotel in this bracket. We had a standard double room with interior view, which is to say a view of the light well that all interior rooms look onto. The large window is offset from the sleeping space, so you could open the curtains if you wanted to with compromising privacy. It provides a nice amount of natural light and the room’s fit out is classy enough to make it feel snug and cozy, not second-rate by any means. All the standard touches are in place - coffee, tea, (paid) mini bar, robes, slippers. Very civilised checkout time. Would stay again."

"Very much a luxury hotel, we had a junior suite for a family of 3 and it was more than enough space. All the staff were great and we had everything we needed. In a great location between Guggenheim and the old town. One small point that as it’s in the centre of the town, it was a little noisy at times. The rooftop bar was lovely."

"All was well except for-the disappearance of the hotel airport shuttle upon our airport arrival. It is not well marked nor consistent about keeping a schedule. I would advise all tired travelers to take a taxi ( very inexpensive) and save yourselves the trouble of connecting with the “mystery “ shuttle."

"Nice hotel but with its ups and downs. Staff were super helpful and excellent spoke really good English polite and approachable even in the var area the young man working is fantastic. Regarding the rooms especially on the 4th floor need a bit of upgrade the air conditioning is old so makes a lot of noise and even putting it on the lowest setting makes a rattling noise and also the air conditioner is not enough to cool the place down. The pillows were super uncomfortable but that my be my own preferences and last the floor towel for the shower was already dirty when I arrived. An okay hotel but not to Great for a 4 star"
