"Overall, my experience was positive with a few minor drawbacks. My room was located in a separate building, just above the gym. There were no lifts, so this could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The room itself was on the smaller side but had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were really comfy. However, one downside was the loud music coming from the gym. Even though my room was two floors above, the noise was noticeable and a bit disruptive at times...

"Always live the diner, but cannot say the same for the tvs - they rarely respond to their remotes and this time a member of staff have to come and power off the wall switch (you can’t risk it yourself in case the tv crashes to the floor)."

"Was good for 1 night stay. Breakfast was nice. Staff super helpful and friendly. Only negative was the slamming doors at night. The bedroom doors require a good slam to shut them so this made it a little disruptive at night. Other than that it was a great little place to stay."

"Die englische Provinz ist herrlich grün, Golfhotels bieten normalerweise etwas mehr Komfort und Platz. Deshalb habe ich für meine Frau extra eine Suite gebucht – was man uns zunächst gab, war allerdings eine Frechheit: ein dunkles Loch mit Blick auf eine Ziegelwand. Warum versucht man eigentlich immer wieder, Ausländern die schlechtesten Zimmer zuzuschieben? Nach längerer Diskussion bekamen wir immerhin eine helle und geräumige Suite, inklusive Entschuldigung. Schade nur, dass die Mängelliste...

"We came for a family night away to celebrate a birthday and we really found the hotel to be relaxed and friendly from the minute we got there. Our room was clean and within minutes of checking in staff came in with a basket and bowls for our dog. We had a few drinks in the bar area that evening which was busy due to football but a great atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely and the choice was great. We used the gym and spa and found the staff in the golf shop all to be extremely friendly...

"We stayed for a night at the Bel & Dragon in Wendover after a Chilterns walk along the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough. The pub was a lovely way to end the day - the room was very nice and we had a few drinks and great meal. It was the hottest day of the year, so understandably warm in the rooms, but there was a fan provided, which helped with the heat."

"Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. "

"We were given a complementary upgrade on our room and late checkout. The breakfast was lovely with a gorgeous view from the restaurant. The member of staff who checked us in was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Located just outside of Marlow but easy to order an Uber / Bolt which cost approximately £8"

"The houseplants in the conservatory hadn't seen water in weeks! Food was mediocre. I was in an accessible room. The facilities were not accessible. eg there was a bath not a wetroom. Handles in the bathroom were not lever handles. Towels had been left 5 feet up!"

"Enjoyable two night stay. Very warm, which made the pool a godsend. Breakfast was a bit cramped and bland, if I was being picky. Lovely room, great bed and good size walk-in shower. Overall, a very definite thumbs up."
