"Upon check in we were kind of underwhelmed. The hotel is dated - the rooms are dated but clean. After further inspection - we realized the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. "We were given the North Tower and we had a few bugs but nothing that really bothered us. Made sure to keep food in fridge and not out. No sun at pools until late and very hard to get a chair by the pool as there are none on the beach. Quite crowded. Food was good. Kids club was ok - we just sat around their pool with our little ones. had some sun there and lots of chairs so this was nice. Gorgeous view from the room and saw wales. Would not go back but I do love southern Vallarta."
