"This was a jewel of a hotel. It’s time, almost hidden. It’s right next door to the Rosa Salva Bakery, which is much easier to find. It’s five minutes from St. Mark’s Square and also close to the Rialto Bridge. I wish the TV had more than BBC and Al-Jazeera for those late nights when you’ve walked several miles a day. The WiFi was great, the AC lovely, and importantly, the bed was so, so comfortable. We would definitely stay there again."

"Location was great to get around. Reception gave excellent local restaurant recommendations. Friendly and helpful staff. The terrace with our room was just what was needed after a day of walking around Venice, to enjoy a cold glass (bottle?) of prosecco before heading out to dinner. (Room #501)"

"The property and hotel in general were very clean. The staff was very helpful- we did book transportation via water taxi through their services and we arrived 15 minutes late due to plane delays and they do disclose they will not wait, I was not able to be properly connected with anyone to talk about alternative times for them to pick us up. We pivoted to using the public water taxi nearby but it was frustrating being transferred multiple times and no resolution. Otherwise the staff was very...

"It’s a good hotel , we have been there for the third time now . We had a couple of friends with us, they gave us the key for their room , and hike they had ours . The bath tub mat was full of mold, what prevented me to use it. Unfortunately the tub is very slippery and I fell down, hurting my leg and back. The breakfast and the tranquility of Lido ate still the best part of the Villa Mabapa. As a positive point, after I complained about bath tub, the next night the mat was perfect clean and I...

"The hotel is closed when we arrived ! Apparently the hotel is been closed for more than 10 days ! Despite the fact that we were notified first by Expedia group but the hotel it self sent me a msg 2 days before coming to it confirming my reservation with them ! Very weird! Is this a scam??? Why hotel would send a confirmation of reservation since it’s closed !"
