"Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean.
We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby.
If we were to return to the area we would come back here. "
"The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. "
"This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby.
