The room was comfortable and the breakfast was adequate and well attended to. The hallways and stairwell smelled of stale smoke. The floors could use extra vacuuming. The bathtub area could use some maintenance, as there was mildew on the ceiling and caulking, which needs to be redone. The listing should be changed to reflect that the pool area in closed for maintenance. There were several items around the hotel that are also out of order, which is discouraging.

Great place and a great breakfast

This property was very nice. The furnishings were in great shape with little wear. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were comfy. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Good place to stay

I booked this room after my room in Albion turned out to be a dumpster fire. I booked that room on hotels.com too. This place was had a great room. Fair breakfast.

Clean and comfortable room

Comfortable bed, soft linens, and clean room. Air conditioning was already running on arrival, on a muggy day. Thermostat in room was helpful. Personable young man at reception desk.

Looked like it was in the process of renovations, breakfast was poor and unprepared daily. Coffee was cold and the building had an odd smell. Room was sleepable and at least the bed was clean and comfortable

The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. The pool looked perfectly fine and we were told it was down for maintenance. That’s why we booked our stay and there was no evidence of maintenance. Don’t advertise a waffle station and not have waffles.

We stayed for 4 days. Not once did housekeeping come to clean or remove trash from the room. Upon arrival there was a used bar of soap left in shower. check in was easy & mini breakfast was ok. pool was out of order, but no indication on website of this.

Hotel is definitely not in great shape. No sign on the hotel. We had ask if it was the right place. Very sketchy area as well. The grass was overgrown. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was dated but clean.

Mediocre

Looks like they are in the middle of a remodel. No sign on the front of the building. Pool was closed. Clean for the most part, except the curtains, they were stained. Chemical smell in the room, like chlorine, but the room was no where near the pool.
