"The lady who oversees the property was a very good host."

"The room was old and looked different from the impression given by the photos. However, it was well cleaned. The gas stove in the kitchen had very weak flames, and the microwave was broken. Some rooms had a musty smell or even smelled like a toilet. The location was good, with everything necessary for daily life within walking distance, making it suitable for a long-term stay. The staff were very kind. However, I found the price to be disproportionately high. I paid around 11,000~12,000 rupees...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very caring. The helped us in evey way possible. Because I was busy with some work during my visit, they offered to show my mother around Kathmandu. We had a great experience at the homestay and would love to visit them again."

"We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests.There is another excellent restaurant right next door. "This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again."

"Établissement très bien placé au calme. A recommander. Un des meilleurs que nous avons fait au Népal. Le propriétaire est plein d'attention: il reçoit comme chez lui. La chambre spacieuse est très propre et joliment décorée. La salle de bain avec eau chaude à volonté. Petit déjeuner excellent. Il y a egalement un balcon avec une jolie vue. Le tout se situe à 2 pas du centre historique de Patan. Bref un coup de coeur."
