I arrived around 1:30am after traveling, and unfortunately, the room keys did not work. Being unable to access my room for nearly an hour after a long journey was quite frustrating. "So despite its name, this is not a hotel. It is definitely a motel and that is how it should be filtered on Expedia. Parking was annoying- Expedia description states that there is a parking garage with which the motel has a relationship and this was not available on our visit so we had to find parking in a busy area. Also, a freight train line runs behind this property which is quite loud. There is also a bar nearby that is quite loud at night. On the plus side, the staff was friendly. ...

"Clean facility, friendly staff. It was a five minute walk to the historic downtown mall. Parking on site had plenty of room. I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in downtown Charlottesville. "
