"Property was very easy to find. Clean inside and out. Staff kind and courteous. King room was large and spacious. Will stay there again if travels take me that way."

"We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great."

"Overall felt safe, clean environment, and slept well. Hot shower and cold AC. The elevator did not seem very sturdy but it worked & the ice maker on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The breakfast was good, however since it was busy the food ran out the employees did their best to replenish the food. We wouldn’t mind staying again, especially for the price."

"Ok, when we made the reservation in April, we booked a 2-bedroom suite. Asked if shuttle service was available, they said yes. So, we arrived at the Charleston airport, called Embassy for shuttle service, said they would be there shortly. About 25 minutes called again and they said they were on their way. Called again and in about 20 minutes and they said we do not offer shuttle service. Ok, we are seniors needing assistance. In a new city not sure what to do. Went to the car rental seeking...

"We chose this hotel because it had 2 treadmills. We arrived and 1 was broken. No one knew why or any idea when it would be fixed. More importantly no one cared. Had to spend extra money at planet fitness. Nobody cared."

"The room was great. The outside of the property was a bit run down and the area was so-so. But, that is also practical and expected for the price point. I had a good night's sleep and got back on the road the next day without any issues, so it was a good experience."

"The breakfast was minimal, when things needed replenished , the one staff on site acted put out and only added items when asked. Two separate hotels ours was the 3rd floor, the smell of pot was overwhelming, and there was a loud machine running in the building at 2 am which made it near impossible to sleep. I pray our next hotel is as advertised."
