"The hotel is in a good area"

"Nearby mall and sit down restaurant. Easy on/off location from interstate highways."

The breakfast was good, however since it was busy the food ran out the employees did their best to replenish the food. We wouldn’t mind staying again, especially for the price."

"We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great."

"Ok, when we made the reservation in April, we booked a 2-bedroom suite. Asked if shuttle service was available, they said yes. So, we arrived at the Charleston airport, called Embassy for shuttle service, said they would be there shortly. About 25 minutes called again and they said they were on their way. "I was having surgery so I couldn't have breakfast but my husband went down and breakfast was being served and he said everything was good and hot. As for the staff, not impressed. She was taking a reservation on the phone and didn't bother to say I'll be right with you and when she got off the phone didn't apologize for my wait. "This is the second stay where there were children travel teams staying left unsupervised in their rooms running up and down shouting slamming doors. Until well after. midnight."

"The room was great. The outside of the property was a bit run down and the area was so-so. But, that is also practical and expected for the price point. I had a good night's sleep and got back on the road the next day without any issues, so it was a good experience."
