"We were given a room right by the elevator. There was some terrible noise of an extractor or AC unit that was very loud. The mattress was lumpy and the AC is like a swamp unit. I am a light sleeper but I am paying to sleep. "

"We stayed for five nights. S Room was cleaned every other day. Parking was plentiful and good amount of space between cars. Great location from downtown Charleston. The breakfast was very good; however, they failed to refill the yogurt machine (I loved the yogurt mix with granola the first day but not available the rest of our stay) and the pancake machine was out of order the last morning of our stay. "

"My room and the public areas were very clean. The staff members were welcoming and most seemed competent. The breakfast was just ok. My shower needed maintenance. The place was generally quiet and the other guests friendly."

"I can tell the building was old…normal wear and tear yet overall the stay was good. The elevator seemed a tad old and shaky. The carpet inside the elevator needs to be replaced or cleaned. "

"We walked out and did not stay, paint was pealing off the wall, room was filthy. Food was left in the fridge from previous occupant. Do not say here. The lady at the front was nice tho. "

"This hotel is terrible and the pictures are not accurate whatsoever. There was filth everywhere, a hole in one of the walls, and simply disgusting. We arrived very late at night and were leaving in the morning…if it wasn’t for the short time we were there, I would have moved hotels…yes, it’s the bad! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! "
