"The room was pleasant and always clean for us after a long day. Breakfast was always on the table before we showed up to the table. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A 10 min walk away from the Plaza de Armas, quite place if you like to stay away from the noise. "

"We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! "Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend."
