"Nice property. Stunning sunsets. Was there in early April. It was relaxing and quiet. The food was good. Not outstanding but good. The staff is wonderful. Hot tubs by main pool are meh and need some upgrades. We hung out in the rooftop pool and rooftop hot tubs. Would go back and stay there again. "

"This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. "

"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"Almare was wonderful! We’ve been to Isla multiple times and this was by far our favorite stay! We booked our trip last minute, but nothing was missed here! From the check-in, the service, amazing food, beautiful room, pool and the private beach, and the private water taxi to the airport! Everything was better than we could’ve imagined. I would recommend Almare to anyone looking for a relaxing, secluded and beautiful stay on isla!"

"Right on the main tourist street but quiet enough at night for sleeping. Very clean, bed was super comfy. Save your money and rent your beach chair and umbrella at the hotel because if you wait until you get to the beach, they charge you a lot for the chair and umbrella AND they make you buy a meal as well so it ends up costing a fortune. We were very happy with the hotel overall. "

"Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. "

Sheets were filthy Bathroom was covered in mold Walls were paper thin and one could hear everything going on in other rooms and I am not a light sleeper. I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular-but this did not even meet basic 1star experience. "
