"Wonderful family stay at Casa Azul Maya! We did have a ground floor room which was a bit more humid - but the AC kept it cool and it was fine for all of us. Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and room was cleaned everyday with fresh bath and beach towels as needed. The partnership with Loretta’s was perfect; amazing breakfasts, access to pool and ocean were picturesque. South side of the island is much calmer and slower pace -with great food, coffee and Punta Sur—- we’d come back in a heart...

"El hotel está bien, con muy buena atención de parte de todos. Solo que parece estar en una transición, un poco se está viniendo abajo. Muchos servicios cerrados que no fueron comentados (solo había un restaurante abierto, el bar de la piscina de arriba cerrado, la taquería nunca abrió). Estuvimos 6 noches, es demasiado porque el hotel es bastante aburrido y lejos del centro (20 min, 200 mexicanos en taxi). No tiene ninguna actividad incluida. Las comidas en general bien, todo a la carta, nada...

"Amazing resort with the most attentive staff. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious and we loved the pools on the property. The entire team at the hotel do such a wonderful job and we cannot wait to return!"

"While the room itself was nice....the location is terrible. There is a view of the ocean, but it's across the street...so it's an ocean view but not ocean front. There is a gas station right beside the room...constant lines of traffic. there is a speed bump right in front, so all vehicles slow down. Two bright street lights shining into the room all night. I would certainly not recommend and def would not stay there again."

"I thought they promised more in their Expedia ad than was delivered: no airport pickup / round trip, no restaurant, bar. Poorly designed signage and I was in a taxi. The property was clean despite a couple of nights of storms. The room was clean and comfortable in spite of the high ass humidity."

"I got upgraded to a beach front room, and loved it. My only negative, was the loud DJ. Thankfully he ended his set early enough, for some sleep. But he might as well have set camp, in my room. If you aren’t in party mode? keep the jungle room!"

"Hidden gym. Very clean, well maintained hotel. Desk staff was helpful.and friendly. We had a room facing the back of the hotel so no problem with noise. Room had strong WiFi and air conditioning. The shower had cool water but no hot water. Bed mattess was firm but not uncomfortable. "
