Had two pillows in the room and one had red stains on it. Bathtub was nasty with mark stains or rusty cause we didn’t want to touch it. Holes on the bathroom door it was just nasty, smelly and horrible overall"

"Good morning, My name is Stefanie Gagne. I stayed in Rooms 122 and 310 after originally being placed in Room 110. When we checked out this morning, no one was available at the front desk, so I am sending this message to formally request a full refund for our stay. From the moment we arrived on Wednesday, 5/13, we experienced ongoing issues that made the hotel stay unacceptable. The first room was dirty, with bugs on the mattresses, stains on both the sheets and mattresses, no hot water, and no bedding available for the pull-out couch. When we asked for bedding, we were told there was none available. We also had to repeatedly ask for towels and were informed there were no clean towels until the next day. Because of the condition of Room 110, the front desk moved my daughter and grandchildren to another room, which was also dirty and unacceptable. I spoke with the manager the following morning, but nothing was properly resolved. Later, I spoke directly with you and was promised a clean room with fresh towels. Unfortunately, we again received no towels until we asked, no bedding for the couch, and the room smelled strongly like an old dirty wet mop. Communication with both the front desk and housekeeping staff was extremely difficult due to the language barrier, making it nearly impossible to resolve any issues. In addition, homeless individuals were coming into the lobby area, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The pool area was also disgusting and poorly maintain"

"The room was perfect. Our only complaint was the breakfast, which was sparse. Some of The pastries were pre made and wrapped, full of chemicals, not edible. There was no yogurt. The juice was not refreshed, mostly apple, not enough orange. Apparently, the very polite kitchen worker was overwhelmed. There was one bagel 40 minutes before closing, never refreshed. The next morning 15 minutes after opening, there was one bagel!! There were 3 half and half containers for a hotel with at least 60 rooms, deplorable for a Hilton property. Please take these comments to heart; Hilton was always my favorite. Can you help out your staff at 139 Union St. in Lakewood/Denver so I can stay there again; 3 minutes from my daughter?"

"Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the nightly warm cookie offered in the lobby. Continental breakfast had a nice variety. Super close to downtown Golden and 5-10 minute drive to Red Rocks. I would stay here again. "
