"One of the best resorts I have stayed at. This resort is a 5 Star resort. This resort is a perfect spot to just kick back and relax. The room we had was incredible and it was more like a villa. The staff is amazing and I can’t wait to go back next time I come to Bali."

"Beautiful resort with stunning pool by the forest. Rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful with greenery views. Service is beyond excellent. The resort upgraded to another room immediately because the AC was not cold enough. They also checked my room before i left and found i had left items behind. Food is limited but i always took the free shuttle service to the main town for meals at the restaurants. I absolutely recommend this resort for quiet jungle holiday away from the noise. The staff is simply fanastic. "

" The room was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, and the amenities were excellent throughout our stay. We especially loved the weekly Balinese dinner show, the daily yoga sessions, and the peaceful morning walk through the rice fields. We did the walk with Ajus, who was fantastic — not only did he make the experience memorable, but he also worked at reception and handled every request we had with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. What truly makes this hotel special, however, is the staff. Everyone was consistently warm, polite, and incredibly helpful, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that made our stay genuinely pleasant and unforgettable. "

"This resort is somewhat misleading as the grounds are GORGEOUS but the hotel needs some serious work in terms of food, provisions and accessibility. Bagus Jati is not at all walkable. You need to take a buggy from your room to the restaurant, spa, lobby, etc.. The food was also not good at all, we ate lunch and breakfast (buffet) one time each and were not happy with the quality. As the resort is VERY remote it is not possible to order food so I would expect a better food and beverage program. The staff and spa were definitely the highlights, I had a massage/ facial and hair treatment that were all amazing! The pool is also beautiful but not heated and very cold. I would also have appreciated a bar/ restaurant near the pool as the only restaurant onsite is very far! I felt dehydrated during most of my stay. Also something to keep in mind this resort is about an hour to an hour and a half from Ubud and getting transportation was very difficult and not possible at times other than expensive transport provided by the hotel. Looking for a very remote escape than this could be the place for you but I would recommend to stay closer to Ubud for ease of transport and accommodations. "
