"Staff very courteous and helping me with luggage transfer to another hotel. Room is adequate as long you don't have large luggage. Bed is comfy, althought pillow a bit firm. Bathroom is clean, bath amenities you can pick up at the lobby. Location very quiet near station. I don't really have time to explore around the hotel but seem close to plenty restaurants. The have laundry room on 2nd floor but only taking cc, i didn't try it thou'. Overall great stay, if I ever need to travel near shinjuku...

"Good location, right in Shinjuku - easy to get to anywhere you want to, right next to the subway and within walking distance to many parts of Shinjuku. I stay here for business normally, very reasonably priced - so you get what you pay for in a way - the rooms are not big, but big enough to be comfortable for one or two people. Three would be a crunch. My first assigned room smelled really bad, probably the previous guests spilled food or drink on the floor and the smell was awful. I tried to...

"My room was clean, just enough room for a single person. Their restaurant was also delicious. Their breakfast buffet was the best part! Great accommodations since I have a dairy allergy. If you can get a premium single room, highly recommend."

"I loved the AC, the change of towels, trash, etc. The hotel provides Q-tips, razors, bath towels, shower caps, combs, tooth paste, etc. The hotel is next to a bus stop that takes you to shinjuku station or shibuya. The streets are not noisy or bright, it’s a very calm location. The only thing i noticed that is easily fixable, on the sides in between the wall and the bathtub and on the floor in the bathroom there’s either an algae or mold build up. Otherwise the room was very clean."

"This hotel is located in a good spot in my opinion. We were close to the JR trains and many other local restaurants. The staff were great but one thing I can’t believe is that we weren’t able to get two rooms with two beds on the same floor. But it was fine, since the staff were helpful for the shipping our luggage to Osaka. If you are in Japan traveling to different cities and don’t want to walk around with your luggage’s, Yamamoto shipping is awesome!"
