"Was a lovely place to stay, however we weren't aware that the hotel was not staffed after 1 pm on a Monday, also the restaurant was closed on Monday but they did suggest recommendations. The only other small but strange thing was the mini bar was communal in the outer Hall. Although we were self check in on the Monday, the staff we saw on the Tuesday were very helpful"

Impossible d’y séjourner correctement. L’hôtel étant complet, on nous a proposé une chambre au Waldhotel, moins bien, avec vue montagne, mais avec un supplément de 3 720 CHF par nuit : totalement inacceptable. "The room was perfect for a solo traveler. I had a great view of Lake Lucerne. The room was soundproof so I did not even hear the wedding reception that was going on right below me. The staff go the extra mile to help with any request. The ferry arrives twice per hour and there is a bus to Weggis for light shopping. Paddle boards are available and there are a few stairs to the water. Highly recommend!"

"Great hotel in fabulous location with fantastic lake and mountains views. Staff were excellent and amenities were good. Shame for us was that there was major expansion construction work going in directly in front of the hotel and although 'paused' for summer we were not told about any of this until a few days before we arrived. Despite the 'pausing' there was still noise and dust being created directly in front of our room (and almost all other rooms) every day by workers apparently dealing with...

"Helaas voldeed Romantik Hotel Beau Rivage niet aan onze verwachtingen. Het hotel ligt mooi aan heg meer. Maar wordt matig onderhouden. Toen we aankwamen en vanwege de hitte een drankje wilde bestellen gaf het hiervoor aanwezige personeel aan dat we nog een half uurtje moesten wachten. Zij hadden namelijk pauze. Ook het driegangen diner waarvoor we voor twee personen meer dan 175 Zwitserse Franken moesten betalen voldeed absoluut niet aan de verwachtingen. Kortom een teleurstellende ervaring."

"From the tome we checked in to the time we checked out after three nights, our experience was the best we had in Switzerland. The area of Weggis alongwith nearby villages etc is exceptional and do beautiful, away from the main tourist circuit. The rooms were very comfortable. There was an onsite restaurant with a good menu and a good breakfast. Huge spa facilities and a pool none of which we used, as we didnt get much time. We used the facilities at Lido to swim in the lake free of charge...

"Incredible views, peace and quiet, with wonderful service. Only down side was bathrooms far too small and limited choice on the breakfast buffet. Ideal for the ferry and a very big plus was the Viennese cafe."
