"Staffs are very friendly and foods are delicious."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Birthday Stay Ever! 🌺 We had the absolute best stay at Hale Hokuala Kauai! The hotel is absolutely breathtaking, extremely clean, peaceful, and secluded, making it feel like your own little paradise. The amenities are fantastic, and there’s even a beach access path right next to the hotel. The location is perfect because you feel tucked away, yet you’re conveniently located near everything on the island. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to...

"We got partial beach view room but paid for beach view room."

"Only positive thing-room was clean. Overall view-the accommodations looked like a jail cell. No windows to speak of. The air conditioner lacked controls. Would not recommend this motel to my worst enemy. Have second thoughts of using Expedia in the future."

"Property needs attention simply from aging. We could not use the hot tub because it was broken during our 8 night stay. We found that to be very disappointing. Management was very average and did not seem to care. Location is ideal but the property needs renovations."

"Great central location. Condo was updated, clean, and very spacious and had all of the necessities. We played pickleball and used the pool. Parking was very convenient right outside condo."

"Overall a nice place and a terrific location."

"There were fruit flies in my room during my entire five day stay. The owner of the room did not leave a phone number so that I can contact them regarding the issue. I was never given an email with the owners information. I asked the front desk and they said I should’ve received an email but I did not. The room needed to be painted and the bathroom shower faucet kept dripping. The doors covering the sliding doors would not open fully so my view of the mountain was blocked. There was only one...

"The staff was overall wonderful, with one exception. Nothing that went wrong was the fault of the property or the staff. It was the recent hurricane. Two of the three closest restaurants were closed, as well as the Sheraton next door. The ocean rooms were outstanding, though it was rocky surf rather than lapping. You wouldn't really want to go in it. The pool has a bit of an odd shape, and you can swim into the steps if you're not careful. But the yoga on the beach was very nice, the...

"Excellent staff and the resort grounds were beautiful, even after Hurricane Lowell."

"If you are planning a stay at Poipu, stay at Ko’a Kea. It is a small boutique property but experienced enough to provide great service, grounds and food. The property was well maintained and clean. It is right at the oceanfront and our room faced it, just steps away. Everything we ate and drank from the bar menu and Red Salt was superb. There are a some things that could be improved that are not Hurricane Lowell related. The bathroom and shower could use updated tile and trim and a double sink....

"Wonderful location, can walk to restaurants and shops in less than 10 minutes. Beautiful spot to catch the sunset on the water across the street. Poipu lots of beaches you can walk or drive to near by. Rooms were very clean! Fabulous pools, and a nice adults only pool that felt very secluded. Great value!"

"Our rental car was broken into first night. Do not leave anything in your car."
