We do apologize there was about 2 days when our main phone line was down, but our other numbers were working.Pacific Club is a boutique resort and so all rooms are different. The room you got was actually an upgrade because it had a small kitchenette, but however rather than king bed it has a queen bed. Most folks are really happy with it and book the same room year after year. We have partnered with DreamMaster which is the worldwide top 5 star bedding manufacturer for over 15 years now as the owner is my friend. The decision about firmness was a major consideration and we chose to go with the specs used by JW Marriott and many other 5 star resorts worldwide. We apologize about the rough check in as we can't control how the Guest before you set the AC so cold the unit froze with ice and started dripping water. But all our AC units are new within this last year and our Team is very good at solving these issues. And Yes it's true we are located in the jungle and there are a few rare occasions when a snake makes it way into the garden. Again our Team was happy to eliminate the problem. We are located across the street from Mandarava which sells for double price. And folks love this area due to it's only a 5 minute walk to the largest beachside park in Phuket. However if you want a formula budget hotel in town with girly bars across the street there are lot's of other options available.
