"Check in was easy and staff were friendly and quite helpful with any questions that we had. The room was very nice and very clean. The breakfast was very good. Parking on site was close and secure. We very much enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend this hotel."

"We loved the Chalet in Sintra!!! This had been constructed as a mansion 150 years ago and had been converted into a boutique hotel. They accommodated an early check in and upgraded us to a suite on the top floor for half the upgrade price. Our room had a view of the ocean! The property was light on amenities, but it was not the sort of place focused on that. It was quaint, romantic, comfortable, clean, with excellent bathrooms. It had maintained much of its 19th century charm and fit in...

"We had a large room with a private sitting out area (although it was too cold to use while we were there). Karen and her staff were very helpful and accommodating. The guest house is very central, close to where Ubers can take you and several of the palaces are close by. There is an honesty system for snacks and drinks. Breakfast was OK but with freshly made pancakes and scrambled egg and the dining area was more corridor than room. Overall very good value."

"We stayed here because they offer laundry facility. The overall ambiance was lovely with great options for snacks and breakfast. Only thing I would mention is the hotel is not new, with older windows and some rust/mold. Room also smells bad, but you can air it out with open windows. Keep in mind this town/area is not modern, so I still give it 4 star in reverence to other facilities in the area and reasonable price. "

"The property was in excellent condition, the room was comfortable and well furnished, and the breakfast was good. The location is close to restaurants and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. We are hikers, so it was a great spot for starting off on hikes to the castle, Peña Palace, etc. Staff was very helpful in the morning when they were present."

"The Sintra Marmoris Camelia Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel which is conveniently located to the historic district and is walkable. The rooms are very elegant & clean and are fairly spacious. The staff was lovely & accommodating. The breakfast room is very elegant and the food is very good. Each evening between 6-7pm the hotel offers complimentary wine & cheese for the guests. I would return again to this lovely hotel!!"

"This is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We were sick so we spent most of our time in the hotel room and it was so comfortable and quiet. The staff was so nice and even moved us to another room when there was a leaky roof. The breakfast was yummy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Do be aware that it’s quite a walk uphill when you leave. "

"This is a very nice boutique type property in a great location in Sintra. Close to the train station. Easy walk up to the old town. The hotel is clean and modern. Rooms are a decent size. Ours had a small kitchenette with a microwave and small fridge. Comfortable bed with wonderful bedding. There is a complimentary breakfast included. It is nicely set up and served. However, we found that some of the items (eggs/sausages/bacon) were warm at best and that was unfortunate. Hopefully they can...
