"Do not expect a hotel! KPH is a low budget motel (their words, not mine!) for a price you can rent an actual hotel room in Palo Alto, CA. The room advertised as “Standard Studio, Mountain View”, priced at about $170 on Expedia, has no mountain view, and is tiny. Shower and toilet are tiny and both are basic at best. It's like an upscale 70's motel but with good breakfast, use of free beach towels (and chairs & snorkel gear), and great location for visiting the Canyon, Poipu Beach (to see lots of green turtles & munk seals), and boat ride from Port Allen to see the Napali Coast and snorkel enroute - all IF you have a car!"
