"Liked the pools, waterslide, view, beach, Duke's, sunset, staff was friendly, able to get towels at any time, we were able to get pool lounge chairs even though we got out late, bell service is fast, friendly, and courteous. Maintenance was fast, as well. We had an ocean view but it was just partial ocean view. We upgraded from mountain view. Overall, we had a great time. "

"Had a great stay. Staff were friendly and quick to take care of whatever we asked for. Hotel restaurant was great with unbelievable sunset views every evening. Snorkeling in front of the hotel was great and the pop up craft fair brought quality vendors right to us. Loved it and will return again!"

"We stayed at the Ali'i for almost two weeks, as a family of five. This property consists of individually owned apartments, so the experience could vary a bit by apartment. We were in unit 135, which was excellent - great condition, very spacious, great view of the ocean, and yet very quiet (except for one hour each evening where we heard the Luau from the Westin next door). The beach is pretty wide near the Ali'i and was not at all crowded when we were there, which was very nice. The property is...

"It had a beautiful view! Bed is comfy. Kinda disappointed there was no oven, k-cup coffee maker or dishwasher in the studio unit. Beach was great…except for the morning fishing 3 of our 6 days there. Guys set up about 7 fishing poles and you had to walk under their lines to walk to a place to lay out a towel or beach chair. They would fish for about 3 hours or so. "

"This is now our new favorite place to stay on Maui. The view of the ocean from our lanai was dreamy. We saw more dolphins and whales than we did on an expensive boat trip. The grocery store was a short walk and there were food carts close by with many options if you didn’t feel like cooking. We weren’t looking for a poolside bar or restaurant and appreciated the quiet not party scene vibe. "
