"We checked in on July 26, 2026, originally for 3 nights but left after 2, for units 7 & 9. - We were not a fan of the coqui frogs. If you like to be serenaded from sunset to early hours of the morning this is your place. Apparently these frogs like to serenade for many hours, and we later found out (via local TV news) they are considered a nuisance and should be reported to authorities. - In unit 9, there appeared to be dried up contact lens on the night stand = GROSS - the shower gels that...

"Found hair, fecal matter, and a bad odor in my shower. Front office sent Brett to look at it. He removed it with his bare hands. He then went to interact with other customers and equipment in the hotel, and I did not see him wash his hands. When I approached the front office about this they offered no help. No offer for a different room, nothing. In fact when I asked them directly, "Guess I am sleeping in your parking lot tonight instead of inside?" They answered,"Yes". Then ignored me. I left...

"Great place and a great breakfast in the morning. Very talented people own this place and make you feel at home. The place is a bit of an art gallery with custom pieces, local art, and info. Kelly appears to put her heart into making her guests feel welcome, comfortable, and well fed if that is a part of your adventure. Plenty of parking for the amount of people that can stay there."

"This is a unique property in a cute rural setting. I could see how it’s not for everyone and it’s most definitely non-traditional. However, the setting is beautiful and the accommodations are adorable. Bed was comfortable, staff were pleasant; although for the most part we were on our own for check in, etc. No issues there, clear communication with directions and door codes were provided. There are indeed a number of ‘rules’ but I saw them more as a guide for how to use this special property...

"This place is beautiful and charming. My self and my two horn h children stayed on the first floor in the large suite with two beds and a pull out futon. Unfortunately, the entire third floor was rented out to a family who were extremely loud. The children continuously ran around the floor and one evening the family had a party that was completely out of hand. I think the children were rolling pool balls on the floor and bowling with them. "I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

"Beds are so comfortable. Lovely grounds , spa is great with hot tub and sauna that you can reserve for private time. Birds can be noisy but you get used to them and actually look forward to hearing and seeing them around the property. "
