"Parking lot is small and fills quickly but there are parking spots on the street which was honestly easier to get in and out of quickly. Everything else was good. Breakfast was a little cold but its a typical hotel breakfast so I wasn't expecting 4 Seasons. The staff was always great and everything was exceptionally clean. Short walk to beach and Pleasure Pier"

"Lovely old historic mansion with a quiet atmosphere! No kids during our stay which was great as adults wanting to relax! Within 10 minute walking distance to the strand and it was a nice walk! Clean room and bathroom and the bedding was super soft! Breakfast was good! Aaron at check in was friendly and made us feel very welcome!! I would stay here again!"

"I was very disappointed in my stay. When I checked in I found that the fridge wasn’t working, there were no robes provided, if you wanted hot water in the shower or sink you would have to run the water for at least 5 min and the lighting was horrible. There was no makeup mirror and the brightest part of the room was the toilet, so if I wanted to read I would have to sit on the toilet. Only problem was very loud noise from some kind of concert across from the Galvez in an open lot. Lasted until 1am then started again around 9am Saturday morning - it was an annoyance."

"I was laying in the bed watching tv, when something caught my eye. It was a roach crawling on my pillow. I jumped up and tried to kill it, but it got away. I immediately called the front desk to ask for a room change, but the front desk clerk advised that they were completely book. I advised that I wasn't staying in that room and they had to do something. He asked if I'd like someone to come to the room to try to get rid of it. I said yes. The guy came and at first we couldn't find the roach....

"Love the vibes, the hotel was so clean, the pool was warm and had clean towels ready . The only con was the lighting in the room was very dim ."

"Friendly staff, in my stay for a week no making the bed or clean sheets, i had to ask for new towels. Only 4 chairs at the pool and every day i had to ask to open the pool. The hotel is a bit noisy but i felt save and welcome due to the staff."

"A/C was very loud and ran off and on all night. The tiles in the bathroom were missing grout and the shower door leaked. Only one of the two elevators worked. Waited 10 minutes for an elevator. The bed was old and worn. Ridiculous price ($300) for a crap room"

"The location, size, and price were awesome for our family. The washer and dryer left alot to be desired. As a party of 7 who had been on the road for 2 days, I just wanted to wash clothes before we got on a ship for 7 days. My daughter's had to take turns throughout the night to get the loads washed and dried."
