"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

The rooms are actually very comfortable suites, tastefully decorated in a modern, minimalist style with hints of Greek culture. The rooms are very pleasant and, above all, very, very clean! The accommodation is located is located in a lovely, quiet location but close enough to plenty of restaurants and towns. The main pool is fantastic with a small bar offering great food and drinks.
