"Every aspect of our stay was intentionally welcoming. From the welcome beverages to the bedside treat, we felt cared for every moment of our stay. The tour of the sanctuary allowed us to have an inside look into the life of Nelson Mandela. Each person at the sanctuary told us more about the beautiful history of his time there. We highly recommend a stay at the sanctuary to all who visit Johannesburg.

The place is very echoey, so if the owners are entertaining downstairs you will hear it in your room. The lighting is very harsh, bright white, which is a big no for me personally. "This Guest House was a great surprise! The rooms are very big and clean and the wide marble bathroom is wonderful! WiFi, big flatscreen TV, sofa, fridge, water cooker and mineral water is in the room. The Guest House is in a quite and safe place and can easily be reached by foot from Rosebank Mall (ca. 1 km, during the day it is safe to walk).
