"HIGHLY recommend! From start to finish - this was a wonderful place to stay. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was great (historic wing), and amenities were perfect. What we loved best is that in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, with all of its towering hotels, traffic, people, the Royal Hawaiian was an oasis. The ageless gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and you don't hear any of the outside noise of the city. We loved it for our Anniversarymoon, and hope to go back again!!"

"absolutely terrible experience. I’ve spent 14 days in honolulu and stayed at 5 different hotels. This is definitely the WORST stay. Elevator was done, and I had to carry all my luggages upstairs. Ice is in the lobby, so need go down from stairs (cause no elevators). No outlet besides the bed so need to unplug the lamp to charge the phone. No working desk nor chair to have a place to even sit down and have meal. No bath tub. The showering water temperature vibrates, from hot to cold and hot. So bad."
