"My stay here as a solo traveler was the best decision I made for my trip. Dave and Shami were so friendly, kind, welcoming, and just genuinely good people. The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. I absolutely plan to come back again and recommend this place to anyone passing through Rotorua."

"Nice room with plenty of amenities. Bed was very soft and not to my liking. Outside lights cane through the room. No one at the desk when I arrived although they were supposed to be, but when I found them, it was quick to get access. It was fine a a short one night stay and good value."

"Quick and easy check in. Modern hotel with a very large room (king with lake view). Only parking option is valet so be prepared to pay for valet upon arrival. Within easy walking distance to more restaurants than you can visit. Disappointed that there wasn't a pool. Didn't like that price for breakfast went up if we didn't commit at check in. The price should be the same for guests regardless of when you decide to have it. Overall, a good experience "

"Upon checking in, the gentleman that checked us in must of had a hell of a day as he was unwelcoming, stone cold, no information regarding amenities of the hotel. The polar opposite to the restaurant staff and other reception staff. Loved our stay, the views amazing especially if you book rm 822, its pretty spectacular."

"We really loved our spontaneous trip to Rotorua. Thanks to Ripple! The room was warm and incredibly clean! Located right in front of the Rotorua luge which makes so easy to go and enjoy the activity early! We also loved the spa and heated pool. My child loved the trampoline and the playground! Great for families with young children!"

"Arrival & Atmosphere We arrived around 3 PM and check-in was smooth - there was one staff member at the front desk who was expecting us. However, the resort felt unusually quiet, almost empty. During our stay, most facilities appeared closed, including dining and the spa. It’s unclear whether these are only available in peak season. "The property was incredibly clean, warm and a nice large room. It was very comfortable. The property had no restaurant or breakfast available, and felt like a ghost town. It shouldn’t be described as a resort, as it’s very clearly a motel. The check in staff and house keeping were polite. However was disappointed that when I phoned at8.30am to ask for a sachet of hot chocolate for my child, the lady at the front desk was rude and wouldn’t bring a sachet past the room, saying that housekeeping...
