"Definitely a unique place. The staff was great. What wasn’t cool was that after 4 pm, no staff was there to help with a minor issue. It wasn’t cool that when I checked out early there was no one to help with the luggage. Two flights of stairs is a challenge, thankfully when staff is there they can bring it up with their service elevator. Overall, I would return as long as my situation allowed me more time."

"I had an excellent stay at Element by Marriott Seattle Downtown. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean, and the rooms are spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, making it perfect for both short and extended stays. "Excellent location and view of harbour. You are right on the water and there is a ton of boat action. Food really good and friendly staff. Lots of fees and taxes added to your nightly room charge that surprised us. Very walkable to pike market . Conveniently beside the clipper if coming from Victoria."

"Staff were very friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Elevator was not working properly. (It would fail to stop at certain floors and appeared to have a mind of its own.) We advised staff and we were told that they were getting someone to come in to repair it. Breakfast was OK, but the room was not big to accommodate the people staying at the hotel, so many people were taking food back to their room. This made it difficult to manage."

"If you think a decent cup of coffee in your $500+ a night hotel room is a reasonable expectation, I WOULLD AVOID THIS HOTEL. I am still struggling to understand why at a very nice Marriott waterfront property that cost over $500/night they would serve the disgusting tea bag style coffee in your room, the lobby coffee is not available until 7AM and the only option is to PAY for crappy machine coffee in the gift shop. I have stayed at innumerable other Marriott properties and have NEVER seen this...
