"Booked this hotel for an event in Manchester. Great location in a quiet part and stunning surroundings. The Belmore is a beautiful building. Arrived with a smooth check in. Directed to our room. We stayed in a family suite; clean and well presented with attractive decor. Beautiful big bathroom, the main part of the room had twin beds and a sofa and tv. And another separate double bedroom. "It was very convenient for Haydock Park races, parking available and a 10 to 15 minute leisurely walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming and managed to have a room ready beforecwe set off for the races."

"Everything was spotlessly clean. The building was a bit run down,with threadbare stair carpets, wooden windows beginning to rot and leaky gutter outside my room. My full English breakfast was perfectly cooked and excellent value. I wasn't charged for extra eggs and tea and toast to finish with. The parking was good and the location beautiful next to the model village of Sunlight."
