"Enkel och säker parkering vid boendet i trevlig marin miljö vid kanalen. Verkligen bra boende och mat, så bra att vi beslutade oss att återvända på slutet av vår långresa. Överraskande fräscha rum (vi bodde både i gamla och nya delen) genomgående trevlig personal. Nära att promenera på den romerska muren och till centrum. Lugnt och säkert område. Kan bara säga gott om The Boathouse and Riverside rooms!"

"Really nice stay near my old hometown. A peaceful Cheshire country area, very quiet and easy to get to. Parking onsite, safe and secure. Food is great, staff helpful and friendly and comfy surroundings. Good range of breakfast options included. Our room was fairly small but there are options, if there had been other facilities like a spa or sauna it would be 5 stars for facilities. Also, much better room coffee would be great but you see that a lot outside of cities, most people don’t care...

"Had a fantastic one night stay here. Couldn’t fault anything about the property or the staff. The only thing was the aircraft noise however that didn’t stop me and my partner having a good nights sleep. Will definitely return."

"We stayed at Able Heywood I’d say 6+ years ago and decided to stay again as I found a good deal on a 1 night stay. A great location and everything you need in the room. AC unit meant it was also comfortable warmth wise which a lot of places don’t have in a rooms. Staff friendly and did everything to make our stay a good one. "

"Does what it says on the tin, all good no complaints. Special mention to reception and cleaners, asked each morning if anywas needed the room."

"This is such a lovely, homely hotel. The staff are kind and welcoming. The food is lovely and the breakfast options are amazing to start you off for a day of walking. The rooms are nice and cosey and lovely and warm. I would definitely stay again for going anywhere near the area. "
