"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. "Distance from main shops but still plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. Although not great shopping. Only 5 minutes to beach.
Hotel nice. Rooftop pool reasonable size although surrounds could do with painting. Top floor restaurant/ entertainment area? Closed

"Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Front desk provided great advise for tours, Snow is awesome.
Rooms are great, large size with all amenities. A bit dated decor but has a vintage charm about it
Great location with beach access and breakfast buffet options were great. Enjoyed our stay very much.
Enjoyed feeding the fishes in the pond running all along the resort walkways. "

"What's not to love about Baan Surkeep!! The gorgeous jungle like garden, beautiful pool,bar and restaurant, the smiling attentive staff,the cleanliness of the facility the delicious food and great music.
A slight snafu at check in was handled promptly by the owner which resulted in our getting a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the pool.
The only thing I feel I should mention is yes its a 8 minute walk down hill to the beach but then you have to cross a very busy 4 lane road and walk for...
