"Had a beautiful view from our room in the bay tower overlooking the bay and Huggos. The room was perfect for our stay, clean and comfortable. The resort is a bit outdated and needs a refresh, but nothing that took away from the experience. Parking is $25 a day and the resort fees getting charged at checkout was a bit of a surprise, but nothing too crazy."

"Stay was easy and very enjoyable. The room was clean, dated but the highlight was the balcony. We ate takeout and breakfasts with a great view but could’ve cooked with the well prepared kitchen. The bed however was definitely lopsided and worn and pillows not too great either. The beach chairs included I would skip on and just rent at a store. Very easy location and parking for all the activities in Kona."

"The front desk persons in the nigh shift are not very nice. When I asked the reason why my room wasn’t being cleared up for the all day and when it will be cleared up. "I enjoyed my stay at the resort and LOVED my room. The walkways offered a museum feel and provided something to look at each day. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. I wish the Tram was faster but that is my only complaint. I ate off the resort so I cant comment on the food, but loved the availability of the shuttles to the shopping centers and the Lava Lava Club."
