This boutique hotel is next level in every way. The attention to detail in the amenities, layout and design are impeccable. The beds are comfortable and the duvets are so cozy. The staff are also very courteous and helpful. My only note would be to incorporate some under-mount lighting in rooms as the ceiling lighting can feel a little too much in the evening and early morning. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Took a two week vacation to Japan. This was our most favorite stay! Breakfast every morning was unbelievable. The attention to every small detail was unmatched from any place we’ve stayed in the world! Next time we come back there’s no reason to look for another stay. This is the place to be!

We had a balcony but it would have been nice to sit out but no chairs also no wedge to keep the door open. The privacy curtain was slightly stained and needed cleaning. It took us five days before we noticed there was no tv! All the staff were great and so helpful with booking restaurants and taxis. We enjoyed the reasonably priced western breakfast.

Room was impeccable, the Japanese breakfast was amazing. There are coffee shops, convenience stores and restaurants nearby. It is located in a quiet street but not far from the tourist spots. A gem of a Boutique Hotel in Kyoto.

Mogana is a peaceful haven. Highly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to cute shops and cafes, as well as a good shopping district. Amazing amenities. Service was impeccable. Hotel's signature drink is to die for (my friend wouldn't shut up about it!). Would stay again for sure.
