"I rated this poor because the staff is very unprofessional. The attitude is not only disrespectful but if you ever want to feel unwelcomed this is the place. Pool and Hot tub are not available and it seems that it is that way for every location no matter where we traveled. Probably will not stay at LaQuinta since they offer the admenities but are not truely available. The pool and hot tub are always closed. We went to have breakfast and the food was terrible. Then as we patiently waited for the kitchen to cook the food the cook left for 20 minutes and we watched other customers ask the front desk for help and the lady at the front desk statement was "God forbidd someone has to use the bathroom". That did not seem to be the case because the woman running the kitchen left for 20 minutes in tears. There was no coffee for 20 minutes. No cold water for the entire 40 minutes we sat there waiting. Hot water was cold and never refilled. When the lady returned she was snappying at customers for asking for coffee, water, and syrup. I heard a customer say "I guess I will have to skip eating this morning". I over heard other customers asking for assistance and was given an attitude. The area was very dirty. If you don't want to work in the industry of serving people then find somewhere else to work because we pay good money to receive these services. Pool, hot tub, breakfast, and a clean welcoming place to stay. I do not recommend this place. Very disappointed."

"Scott, the front desk manager, was very courteous and helpful. On the downside, the TVs remote systems were both very confusing to use. Simple things like figuring out what channel to turn to ....very complicated, little navigating to find the channel guide! Not exactly like some systems as Holiday Inn or Hilton properties use like DIRECTV."

"For the price my family paid, it was very underwhelming. The room was hot; the door didn't lock properly; it was clean but not well-maintained; and it lacked nutritious food. I would expect this from a cheap hotel, but not one that is more than $130 a night."

"The rooms for the price were good. It was a small room and bathroom but that should be expected in older hotels. The shower curtain was a little short and was flooding water into the floor. Bit made management aware. Said they would fix it"

"We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom in June 2026. The room was very old fashioned looking with old furniture. The mattresses were like cement. The room had bugs crawling around in the bathroom area and in the tub. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The microwave was hiding inside a cupboard on a shelf about one inch above the ground. Really hard to use it when it's basically sitting on the floor. The refrigerator was also on the same level, and it was permanently set at a higher than normal temp ( I suppose to save money) and could not be lowered. The fridge was too warm to be effective so we could not use it. The room also had a large raised divider on the floor between the bedroom flooring and the bathroom flooring. You had to carefully step over it to avoid tripping. One night in the dark I did trip over it going to use the bathroom facilities and was only kept from falling by crashing into the desk chair. I was left with a large horrible bruise on the top of my hand, but it could have been much worse. Speaking of worse, the "free" breakfast is horrible. The only redeeming thing they had were muffins from WalMart. If you eat there, do not try the "scrambled eggs". You will be sorry. Everyone loves a free meal though and people were literally getting upset and pushing others in their haste to get to the yogurt machine. Lastly, the pool water was extremely cloudy and nasty looking."
