"Was right"

"Absolute gem of a hotel! I’ve enjoyed staying on two separate occasions and throughly enjoyed the quality amenities and friendly staff. I’m not going to go into details but there was a rather major mishap/inconvenience on our first stay and I debated bringing it up to management but before I had a chance they let me know they would be covering our entire stay. Lovely view great management and a cozy relaxing atmosphere I hope to enjoy again soon! I’m tempted to write a bad review just to help...

"Nothing much in the room, no coffee machine, no tissue box, no conditioner, ice machine is out of order. So inconvenient. "

"The staff were waiting and had everything ready for our late arrival. The room was clean and room temp was easy to control. The bathroom was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was basic but most places don't offer it at all anymore. We weren't there for very long but had no issues."

"Great location with great amenities. It is very popular for hockey and other sports families so it is very busy and full of kids running around. It was clean and the hotel bar and kitchen was great to have as an option for food and drinks."

"Breakfast was very good. There was no guide in the room which told the guest about certain amenities. I had to call the main desk to find out whether breakfast was included, and what the hours were... Finding channels on the tv was by trial and error, silce there was no channel listing.."

"An excellent stately building with spacious rooms, a great pool & workout area, fabulous breakfast, excellent laundry room, and truly wonderful staff who really care about helping guests. We love it and have been back several times this year as our grandson was playing junior hockey in Minnesota near Plymouth. GREAT restaurants around and in Maple Grove as well."

"Too many kids and walls are so thin that you can hear the person next door showing."

"Old hotel in need of renovation. The first room they put me in was stuffy and smelly and right next to service elevator (even after I asked for quiet room). I asked for new room. Manager was very nice and accommodated my request. Breakfast was average at best."

"The pull out mattress was dirty. We were only given a flat sheet and a blanket for pullout. The hot tub jets didn’t work. Phone in room didn’t work so couldn’t call the front desk. The bathroom fan was hanging by one screw. The second TV in the room also didn’t work."

"Room was filthy, had mold, strong mildew smell made me sick, & housekeeping clean. Had to clean shower, countertops, drawers, & tabletops myself. Stains and spatter on walls, baseboards, chair, recliner, ottoman, mini-fridge cabinet & light switches. Front desk staff didn't care, acted like I was being difficult. Was made so sick by mold infestation in room I couldn't function for days. Housekeeping entered my room hourly when I booked a late check out, waking me up after a night of insomnia....

"Just an all around great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean & modern room, nice pool/hot tub & workout room, restaurant next door, convenient location - I could go on!"
