"The entire staff was friendly from the time we checked in till the time we checked out. Coffee and water was available all day which was nice. The morning breakfast had a big variety. Coffee, juice, milk and water were offered. Breakfast included cereal, bagels, muffins and yogurt with all the fixings. As well as, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. It seems like the bacon and ham was only offered on Saturday. However, making your own waffle was a plus! The hotel also has an indoor gym and an outdoor pool but we didn't have time to use it. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was moderately quiet. The hotel is at a great location off I-35 and close to downtown. We exceptionally enjoyed our stay."
"The keys to the room did not work. We had to get our keys reprogrammed every time we went into the room. The key reader to the door had to be repaired during our stay and the staff was completely unapologetic and couldn’t be bothered to help. We got no apologies or any empathy. We waited in the hall for an hour waiting for the maintenance guy to show up. I won’t be staying here again. We were here with a large group and the keys did not work for anyone. Very annoying."
"The rates were great. The room was clean. I was in town for the weekend running bowfishing guides on Lake Brownwood, and needed a place to stay. I was worried about my gear possibly getting stolen, but these folks keep a real close eye on things. I was very impressed. I will definitely be staying there again."
"Mirror lights in my room were broken. Came around 8am for breakfast and it was 100% empty - the only thing left was water. For paying close to $500, I expected more. If you have the extra coin, stay at the Best Western Plus in the area. It's significantly better."
"I had to call because I was running late. Did not get there until after 10:30 PM. They were really nice about it. And waited for me. When first coming into the place at night, it looked a little creepy for a minute. But once we got to the room, it was very nice, very quiet. I'll meet out of concrete. So you cannot hear anybody else. The bathroom was nice. He had a refrigerator it had a microwave and coffee maker. The owners were really polite and nice after waking up in the morning. This was definitely an old motor court. We were able to park our car in our own little parking garage. I would highly recommend this, and I will come back next time. I come through Brownwood/Early Tx"
