"We had a wonderful stay in this real southern Lake District gem of a cottage – thank you Jules (and Alistair)! It's even lovelier than the photos show! Almost any facilities and extras you could want or need were already provided, with such care and attention to detail across all the areas. "Beautiful hotel and facilities. We loved our room - the bathroom was amazing! Heating and hot water broke on Friday so shower/bath was lukewarm and cold room. which spoiled our evening a little, unfortunately. Staff were lovely and resolved it ready for the next day/eve. Breakfast was wonderful on Sat/Sunday with great choice and quality. "Beautiful location, lovely breakfasting room and public interiors. Very tasteful. Very good outside areas too even though the actual outside area was quite compact . It worked. The room was tastefully done and quiet, however the ensuite was rather small, beside the fields. Lots of wildlife.
