"The room was neat and tidy yet very little space for a double room, more like a single room. Some staff were more conscientious than others at breakfast time. The menu was more akin to a good pub rather than a nice hotel. The setting was superb but the property was undergoing refurbishment which spoilt it a bit."

The decor very tasteful and the amount of space was incredible! I usually never sleep particularly well on my first night anywhere, but I had no trouble whatsoever! "Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog! Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty. Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need. Will be back for sure!"

"Only small gripe was the shower head had a bit of black mould on it and one roller blind came away whilst I was closing it. Luckily my husband was able to clip it back in quickly. Room and bedding both clean, grounds beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was fantastic, quality hot cooked breakfast and very pleasant staff. We would visit again, thank you."

"Luxury is suɓjective but no. Studio suite was small with no lake view. Arrived to find black sharp grit dog hair and dried dog food on floor and some grit and dog hair on bottom of the bed. Vacumn in entrance solved this. Black mould on glass and frame in bathroom due to single glazing on all windows was cleaned. Despite staying 3 nights owner was unable to replace the missing hair dryer in that time. Middle window curtain and underbench rubbish bin needs repairing. Parking on site and bed...
