"When booking I thought the rate was reasonable for somewhere to stop for one night, and the pictures looked good. Maybe some rooms are OK, but the further you go from reception, the worse the hotel seems to get. We stayed on the hottest night of the year. There is no air con so even with the window wide open it felt like the gates of hell, and overlooking the main road so there was no chance of sleep due to the noise. "I would give this place zero stars if I could. Staff was rude and treated us like we were bothering them. The lobby security guard stared at my wife and my sister in such a way that they felt unsafe and actually refused to go outside without me. The cafe attendant refused to take my wifes "kids menu" because they were not physically there in the cafe. Meanwhile, I was in the room with my kids because one of them was ill. The room smelled terrible, there were drunken workers watching football in...

"Hotel has seen better days with inconsistent amenitities in the rooms. We booked three family rooms and two of three had a safe, two of three had a fridge, AC couldn't cope with the high temperatures (above 30C)."

"This is a very quirky old building! We used this property as an overnight stay prior to a flight and it was just perfect for what we needed, we didn’t arrive until about 9pm so didn’t have food but had a couple of drinks in the bar and very short distance to the airport in the morning. Also unlike some of the chain hotels we looked at there was no fee for overnight parking at the hotel. Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again!"

As for the property, it is a rather typical lower end chain hotel, though it has what was needed and is inexpensive.
