"A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good.
A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant.
All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly.
Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there.

"Loved the dance party and band on the night we checked in. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable and enjoyed the outdoor deck. Nice private location and easy to get to other towns in the region. Highly recommend this hotel! "

It is a wonderful property with many great amenities, the large indoor spa and pool were exceptional. Our daily interaction with the friendly staff was the best. "August 2025, family of 4 stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor.
First time in Portugal I really didn’t know where to choose to stay, mixed reviews about the accommodation but I just went with it.
Lovely friendly staff, beautiful pool, great location and the apartment was clean, spacious, kitchen well equipped and the apartment cleaned daily. Some parts of the hotel could do with being modernised but it really wasn’t a big deal.
