"We had an excellent stay from start to finish. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was of a very high standard with plenty of choice we only ate out once all week. The football pitch, running track, and gym were fantastic for our family, and there was also plenty of entertainment around the pool.

"A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good.
A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant.
All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly.
Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there.

"Excellent location. Clean. Large rooms. The hotel actually consists of two hotels. One is older but remolded and overlooks the sea. The one we stayed at was just above it. Very quiet in January but apparently quite the opposite at other times of the year. Good service. Buffet breakfast. Good but not excellent. Buffet dinner can be purchased also.
