"The wifi is only in the common areas and not in any of the rooms, which is inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. Here’s the thing, I was not impressed by the front door but after you go into the actual courtyard, it’s much nicer than you’d think. The rooms are big and are in decent condition for the age and area. It is very convenient to walk down to the beach and excursions, and not be super high priced because it’s not right on the beach. "

"The location is very well located on a great beach. Service staff are very good and responsive throughout the resort. The food was very good including the coffee bar. The gym was very well equipped. We did not use the spa because of the extra charges for the jacuzzi, sauna and steam…we felt these should be included for the room price. Pools were all very nice and maintained, never felt crowded. Our room was not cleaned properly when we arrived especially the bathroom, with hair in the sink "

"All rooms face the Ocean, view is obscured by other buildings and the Palm Trees. Only complaint I have, the Bar across the Street on the Beach was blaring Hip Hop Music until 1:00 AM. Had to fall asleep with the room thumping from the Bass. "

"Resort is a bit rundown. The floor of our room was very dirty, we had to wash a large sticky area ourselves. We paid for an ocean view upgrade but barely had a view, and our room was above the kitchen so we always had the greasy cooking smell"

"The cave room is seriously something special. I don’t know the story but it must have been someone’s home years and years ago. You can tell they put a lot of thought and intention (and money!) into building this unique space. It’s the perfect little oasis nestled into the mountain. Sure the finishes are older and you're basically sleeping outside (lol) but once you’re used to the sounds at night, I always felt safe and slept like a baby! "We were given the North Tower and we had a few bugs but nothing that really bothered us. Made sure to keep food in fridge and not out. No sun at pools until late and very hard to get a chair by the pool as there are none on the beach. Quite crowded. Food was good. Kids club was ok - we just sat around their pool with our little ones. had some sun there and lots of chairs so this was nice. Gorgeous view from the room and saw wales. Would not go back but I do love southern Vallarta."

I really enjoyed the access to the gym as I am recuperating from surgery and must exercise. The breakfast service was nice and the 24 hour coffee and tea a nice perk. "Beautiful new hotel opened last year. There are rooms woth ocean view although mine was garden view. However, there is also an awesome rooftop terrace with panoramic views over Bahia de Banderas with chairs and tables and loungers open to use. Place is super clean, has a nice shared kitchenette for some cooking, and a nice area to eat, also with partial ocean and garden views. Location is great in the heart of PV, 15 mins walk you can reach north to Playa Camarones and all of the Romantic Zone...
