We checked in and shortly after getting into our room we got a call from the front desk requiring us to come down and get our wrist bands for what I do not know. We went to the front desk and we were offered a choice of some free gifts if we set a time for a one hour meeting with them. My wife picked a gift and a time and then we were told it would cost $40.00. He gave us the wristbands that I still don't know what they were for. We were blindsided by this and there was nothing in writing. We never got a receipt for the $40.00. We decided to cancel the meeting and not receive any gifts. We still have not got our $40.00 back. We also discovered that shower in our room did not have hot water and the toilet was not working properly. It took us three calls to the front desk before anyone responded to the problems. The maintenance man came and looked at it and said he could not fix it now but remembered this room having a problem in the past. He said he would let the front desk know and that we should be compensated. We have yet to see any compensation or even an acknowledgment of our problems.
